I just caught wind of this today, so it could be old news to a lot of people.

At the Yorkton Terriers' first board meeting since the AGM, Frank Kormos resigned, meaning Brad Haberman, who was just a few votes shy of getting in, takes the place of Kormos on the Terriers' 9-person board. Al Kuntz and Ron Pasloksi are now the only 2 executive members remaining from the end of the 2007-08 season.

I'm having trouble finding a website for these results, but it sounds like the largely-SJHL Northern Connecticut Wings Summer hockey team is tearing it up. From what I've heard they won their first tournament last weekend, one of the scores in the neighbourhood of 18-1. Yorkton's Derek Serdachny, Bryan Hull, Cody Zubko and Greg Coburn are all on the summer hockey squad. Hull's playing on a line with Estevan's Riley Tetrault and Melfort's Kyle Fraser.
