Riders Get er Done

I'm gonna keep it quick. I'm on the fiance's laptop and I'm in trouble for ignoring her having just watched a 3 hour football game. I was concerned for the first three quarters of that game. I was never worried the Riders would lose throughout the entire contest, but they just weren't impressing me. I think Edmonton will finish last and out of the playoffs again, and the Riders played just good enough to win for the first 45 minutes, before stepping on their throats in the final 15. In just a few short minutes, Wes Cates went from 35 yards rushing to 85. Marcus Crandell turned a mediocre perfomance into 280 yards and 2TDs. And the Riders won in convincing fashion, just like they should have, 34-13. The Matt Dominguez clone Adarius Bowman made an appearance, taking Crandell's pin-point toss to the house for roughly an 80 yard scoring play. And Dominguez is supposed to start next week... imagine those two guys on either side of the field. Scary. Did Fred Perry even play tonight? After calling Crandell a "second-string quarterback with no arm and no mobility before the game, I don't believe he ever introduced himself to the Rider QB from opening kickoff to final gun. He was invisible. Don't worry Fred, we'll take you back just like we did for Omarr Morgan after he realized what a bad decision he made. Our O-Line looked great, defense is stud. Crandell, Cates, and company are only gonna get better. I'm looking forward to seeing them play Calgary and B.C., then we'll know if they are infact in the upper echelon in the West. Anyway, I'm off to the movies, or so I'm told. Riders win! Bombers lose! TTYL
