Baseball Mils Red-Hot

- How 'bout those Melville Millioniares (baseball). Started the year with 5 straight losses and have now won their last 4 to move ahead of Weyburn in the East Division. Melville beat Sherwood Park for the second straight day last night, and Yorkton has a chance to beat Sherwood Park twice in one afternoon. The two teams are finishing Thursday's game which was suspended due to rain during a 1-1 tie in the 11th inning. That starts at 2:05, followed by a full game. Yorkton's coming off a loss in Regina last night.

- I gave Wayway Wolverines' Coach/GM Barry Butler a call yesterday afternoon. He's obviously quite excited about Sean Collins going in the NHL draft yesterday. I'm calling Barry from work tomorrow to get some comments on the record, watch for that on this blog, and on GX94 during the 8:00, 12:00, and 5:00 sports tomorrow (MON).

Another beautiful day, enjoy your Sunday, I'm off to Jubilee Park!
