Source: CTVA Hamilton Tiger-Cat from Yorkton has been sentenced to 90 days in jail after pleading guilty in July to possession of steroids and marijuana.
U.S. border officials arrested Jordan Matechuk in May after seizing 543 anabolic steroid pills, 262 millilitres of liquid anabolic steroids and just over one gram of marijuana at a border crossing near Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
Officials said Matechuk told an officer he was travelling to Hamilton from Alberta.
A message for Matechuk's lawyer Monday was not returned. His jail term includes credit for two days.
