Odds are though, when the dust settles, they'll be 4th and 5th, one way or the other, and will see the top team in each division.
That also means, I'll likely be doing my first ever game in either Selkirk or Winkler. We don't schedule games in the Addison Division for 2 reasons. 1) Swan/Wayway are only there for weekend trips, and we don't do Saturday games in the regular season. 2) Geographically, it's just too far! For me to drive myself to Winkler on a Friday just for one game, and come all the way back is too much, especially when doing 3 or 4 games a week, anywhere from Kindersley or Battleford, to Estevan, to OCN. Of course that'll change come playoff time, I'll be more than happy to venture into the Addison if that's where the Stamps or Wolverines open up Round 1.
So that adds another race for us to keep our eyes on... top spot in the Addison Division.
Right now, Selkirk leads Winkler by 2 points, AND have a game in hand.
I've heard both rinks are great to do games in, and I look forward to hopefully having a chance to go to either one.
