Despite getting out-shot 52-25, the Swan Valley Stampeders posted a 6-3 home ice win over the Selkirk Steelers on Friday.
Ryan Marshall had 2g-2a, Dylan Trowell scored his 3rd goal in his last 5 games, Sam Prpich added his first as a Stamp, and Cramer Coulthart and Taylor Epp also found the net.
Clarke Byczynski added a pair of assists, while Dylan Wells stopped 49/52 shots.
Once again, just when it looks like one of Swan's goalies might be becoming their #1 guy, the other guy steps up and has a monster game.
I still think it's a nice problem to have!
The Stamps were out-shot 19-1 in the third period, and the period was scoreless.
Swan's back into a tie with Portage for top spot in the Sherwood (and have played 3 more games), and are back on home ice tonight against the Saints.

The Wayway Wolverines are 4-1-1 in their last 6 games, after a 6-1 romp over the Neepawa Natives.
It was Wayway's second lopsided win over Neepawa this week, following their 7-3 win in Neepawa 6 days previous.
The Wolverines scored 4 goals in the second period, including two from defenseman Steven Duda. Paul Vandevelde, Dave Williams, Ashley Howie and Bobby Janzen also found the net.
Goaltender Ryan Benitez recorded his first win as a Wolverine, and only faced 17 shots.
The Wolverines are also on home ice for a second straight night when they host the Portage Terriers tonight.
