Pilot Mound product Brett Pinkerton had to weigh his options, and he had a lot, including the SJHL's Estevan Bruins. But the 18-year-old forward has signed the dotted line with the Wayway Wolverines. The 6'2", 193 pounder put up 16g-26a-42p in 44 regular season games with the MBAAAHL's Pembina Valley Hawks, and led the league with 9g-6a-15p in 12 playoff games. He scored the OT winner in Game 5 of the final, as the Hawks beat the South West Cougars to win the Manitoba 'AAA' Midget Championship.
