The Swan Valley Stampeders sent a draft pick and futures to the Steinbach Pistons on Sunday, in exhange for 1991 (19) defenseman Rob Paulsen.Paulsen went from Portage, to the Saints, to Steinbach last year, and will only strengthen an already solid returning core on the Stampeders' backend, joining the likes of Brent Wilson (20), Dylan Trowell (20), Paul Bonar (19), Evan Morden (17) and Brendan Mitchell (18).
Morden has a good shot at cracking the WHL's Everett Silvertips, but even if that happens, the Stamps have no less than 5 experienced defensemen coming into camp.
