Well hats off to Eddy and good luck in the future because he proved himself with this club and I think he will land another coaching job should he choose that path. The club obviously did need to make a change so hats off to executive, Yorkton has a tough fan base to please and the city should pat Eddy on the back (he brought alot of attention to the club the city and the kids involved)as well as economic spinoffs. Should Trent land the caoaching job good luck to him and hope he has a strong backbone for the fans we know he will be a good coach
whats the story here Craig? coaches the U17's a month ago and now fired? would like to here some of the reasons given.
Criag you spent a lot of time with this team what are your insights how was the players attitude towards Eddy?
Once the dust settles i might offer my opinion. But I don't talk to the players ABOUT coaches much if ever.
I got along good with Eddie and even if I didn't agree with him on everything (not saying that's the case), I wouldn't come on here and roast him either, but once I'm done talking to everyone (hopefully Eddie included) I'll try to muster up some sort of opinion.
Hockey is a nasty "business" when it comes to this sort of stuff as well as player trades - they are all golden when they are winning but when things aren't working, they can all be just a piece of meat.
Good for you for not roasting or dishing on players/coaches - don't bite the hand. I hope this sparks something in Yorkton - it should be an interesting Home and Home with Melville this weekend!
Go Mils
