Brayden Metz scored back to back first period goals, and the shootout winner as the Melville Millionaires beat the Notre Dame Hounds 4-3.Logan Herauf also scored in regulation AND the shootout as the Mils picked up their second straight win and get to within one point of Yorkton for 4th place with a game in hand.
Travis Janke, Andy Smith and Trevor Cameron scored for the Hounds, while Melville's Deszi Wiens made 33/36 saves and stopped the only two shooters he faced in the shootout (Blayne Stevenson, Janke).
Melville's home to Nipawin tomorrow (WED).

Wayway also won 4-3 in a shootout, over the visiting OCN Blizzard.
The line of Niko Grose, Ryan Regel and Paul Van de Velde each scored, and combined for 5 points.
Former Melville Millionaire Chris Jackson got the victory in goal.
