Goaltending will be solid, with Chris Ward back for his 20-year-old season, and sure to be a workhorse once again. Hohn was pushed in camp but retained his backup gig from last season. The Stamps have 8 defensemen to start the year. Local product Evan Morden is 6'2'', 202 lbs at just 16 years of age, and the Everett Silvertips draft pick will be one of the younger players in the MJHL with his hometown Stamps. Brent Wilson will give the Stamps' D corps some much needed offense and will likely log a lot of PP minutes. Myles Stevens is the undisputed #1 centre on the club and if healthy will likely lead the team in points for a second straight year, having matched his rookie total of 26 goals last season, cracking 70 points in each of his first two season. Stevens and Wilson are both Norway House products and are long time friends. Darcy Riddell and Ryan Marshall give the Stampeders 3 solid centremen, and Coach Dwayne Kirkup and GM Guy Vestby are excited about their newly acquired Quebec duo of Marmen and Houde from the Flin Flon Bombers. Chris Reimer's return was welcomed after he initially was looking at career opportunities over the summer, and was unlikely to be back. Look for second year forwards like Peel, McDonald and Coulthart to elevate last year's point totals and help create 4 lines with few if any holes. The Stamps will have to rely on depth and of course Chris Ward in order to compete in the always-tough Sherwood, in a year where the RBC Hosts from Dauphin are loading up and are the likely favourites to take the division pennant.

Steiner, where's this Humboldt Broncos story that you were working on for SJHL.ca? I can't find it on there.
I was told it'll be on around the start of the regular season. But it's done... working on a new one starting today!
For your information Craig, Justin Giesbrecht is at Briercrest this year, same place as ex Stampeder/Flyer, Craig Cornelsen
