- The picture's a couple posts below. The Terriers unveiled their flashy Philadelphia Flyer-like jersies for the upcoming 2009-2010 season at yesterday's press conference.
- Several returning, and some new players looking for a spot on this year's team were in attendance. Of course Skagen, Zubko and Danyluk are all seen modelling the jersies. Devin Peters, Shawn Shackleton, Clark Byczynski, Kurtis Decker, Kevin Stringfellow, Brett Derkach and Crad Crozier were on hand. And off the top of my head, rookie hopefuls Justin Lamontagne, Brent Struble, Joel Ballard, Morgan Salkeld, and Scott Bollefor also took in the press conference. Hope I'm not forgetting anyone. Lamontagne (Battlefords "AAA") and Struble (Regina "AAA") are both Wawota products and both played a handful of games for the Terriers last season. Ballard's a defenseman from Winnipeg... you may have heard him on my 12:00 sports yesterday and/or 8:00 am sports this morning. He was up for the Eddie Belfour award for top High School Hockey player in Manitoba last season. Bollefor played 'D' for the Yorkton Harvest last season, while Salkeld's another local product who racked up some good numbers for the Yorkton "AA" Midget Terriers.
- Our last minute addition to our radio foursome of Randy Atkinson's buddy Don Owen was as-advertised... a dang good golfer (at least everyone thought so but him!). We still didn't crack top-10 I don't think, with a scramble score of (-8). It was probably my best round of the year (which still isn't that good!). My usual decent drives of years past hasn't been there but I got ahold of a few yesterday and drained a 30-footer for bird on the Par 5 7th. Also won a golf bag in a random draw... and no Jeff Bahrey, it WAS NOT the prize for most honest golfer!

CRAIG.. YOU DID MISS TWO RETURNING PLAYERS IN ATTENDANCE...DEFENCEMAN CHAD CROZIER, AND CENTRE BRETT DERKATCH----ALSO LOVE THE NEW JERSEYS, EVEN WITH A SEVENTIES CREST!
