20 days off went by faster than expected, but I'm equally happy to be back to work, especially at such an exciting time for local sports. The Melville Millionaires are in the fifth and deciding game of the WMBL's Eastern Conference Final tonight... and our Junior 'A' Hockey teams are just weeks (or less) away from kicking off training camp.
The Baseball Mils beat Swift Current 3-2 Sunday and 5-2 last night at Pirie Field to force Game 5 tonight back in Swift Current. The 2-time defending champion Okotoks Dawgs await the winner.
I'm trying to get back in the loop of the rest of the local scene after 3 weeks away so I'm keeping this one short. I'll post some wedding/honeymoon thoughts/pics incase anyone's interested sometime this week... I think I forgot my camera's USB cable at my parents' farm... but I'm heading back that way Friday for yet ANOTHER wedding this weekend. In short, Vancouver/Alaska were awesome, but it's always good to be back. Thanks for reading and I'll be updating like I used to again.
