Here's a chunk of my 8:00 sports.
Western Major Baseball League
The Melville Millionaires certainly had the Regina Red Sox number this year.
With last night's 7-3 win in Regina, the Mils swept the season series against the Red Sox, winning all 6 head-to-head matchups.
James Green continued to swing his hot bat, going 2-for-4, with a walk, and got plunked once, improving his team-leading batting average to .392.
Brandon Morgan was 3-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI's. Kyle Barclay went 3-for-5 and drove in 3.
Kevin Crumb picked up his 3rd win of the season, going 7 and a third, struck out 7, while giving up 3 runs on 5 hits.
MORE STATS
The Mils are now 16-and-12, still in first place, and have a rare day off today, before hosting Moose Jaw tomorrow.
**The Yorkton Cardinals are scheduled to host the Weyburn Beavers at 7:05 tonight, of course that's weather-permitting.
South East Men's Fastball League
Franklyn Keshane fanned 14 Whitewood batters as Treaty Four beat the beat the Falcons 6-1 in Cowessess, to take a 1-0 series lead in their first round Best of Three.
Game 2 set for tonight in Whitewood.
