The Girls downed the Sisler Spartans 42-10, before the Boys followed with a 57-15 performance against the Keldin Klippers.

The Boys also went 9-3, scoring 377 for and allowing 142 against.

Chris Cox threw 7 innings of 1-hit ball, striking out 7 and walking one... but the win went to reliever Chris Byford, who threw the final two innings. The Cards out-hit the Millers 9-3, and Magdaleno, Garrett Brown and Felix Brown had 2 hits apiece... Pinch-hitter Blair Walters was issued a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the 9th for the win.
Sunday
8-5 L to Weyburn
Magdaleno was at it again, hitting a 3-run homer.
*Magdaleno went 5-for-9, .556 avg, with 1 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R in 3 games over the weekend. That lifts his average to .276, 2nd highest on the team behind Andrew Haake's .313.
11-8 W over Weyburn
Cards racked up 7 fourth inning runs. Garrett Brown was 2-for-4 with a home run. Elias Torres also had a pair of hits... and the 2-and-3 weekend leaves the Cards with a 5-and-5 record in the ever-so-tight East Division. Weyburn's 4-and-4... Regina's 4-and-5... while Melville leads the way at 4-and-1 after a pair of wins in Saskatoon Saturday and Sunday.
Melville
Saturday: 4-0 W over S'toon
Saturday was all about starting pitcher Kevin Crumb, who tossed a complete game shutout... 3 hits... 10 strikeouts and 1 walk. Matt Warr went 2-for-4 and the Mils put up 3 runs in the third.
Sunday: 9-8 W over S'toon
Millioniares almost let a 9-2 lead slip away... as the Jackets got 4 in the fifth, and 2 in the sixth to make it 9-8... however that's how things would end as Melville grabbed their 3rd straight win. Paul Lamantia added his second home run of the year for the Mils, and James Thelwell also went yard. Each team had 13 hits and the two clubs combined for 10 errors... 6 of which made by the Mils.
