The SJHL Credit Union Cup's all even at a game apiece, and just like the Sherwood Final, the Melville Millionaires were unable to capitalize at home after stealing Game 1 on the road.
The Mils were all over the Humboldt Broncos to start the first period, and led 1-0 after one on an Aaron Decorby powerplay goal.
The Broncos scored twice in the second... Garrett Leedahl at even strength and Nick Kalnicki on a late powerplay. Matt Kirzinger added a powerplay marker in the final frame, making the final 3-1 Humboldt.
Matt Larochelle was solid, making 30 saves in the win for the Broncos, while Travis Bosch stopped 25 of the 28 pucks he faced.
Game 3 goes Friday in Humboldt.
