SEVERSON IN CZECH REPUBLIC FOR U-18's

Second year Kelowna Rockets defenseman and Melville product Damon Severson and the rest of Team Canada will open up the World Under-18 Hockey Championships in the Czech Republic on Thursday.

Canada picked up a pair of exhibition wins over Germany (5-3) and the Czechs (5-4 OT) this week.
