The Yorkton Terriers are now down to 23 Junior 'A' carded players, after releasing 20-year-old forward Justin Lamontagne, and assigning 18-year-old forward Ryley Stefanyshyn to the PJHL's Ochapowace Thunder.
Lamontagne had 4g-4a-8p in 24 games with the Terriers this season, and in 96 career games, he put up 10g-10a-20p.
In 12 games with the Terriers, Stefanyshyn had 2g-2a-4p, and played his first game with the Thunder on Wednesday night.

Craig, I like all 3 goalies but why would they keep all of them. That could be costly later on unless they are looking at trading one.
Keep in mind MacAuley is Medicine Hat property and Tyler Bunz has a good shot at making the World Juniors. I get the sense they're keeping three.
Looks like things are almost set, they will be down to 22 card when MacAuley gos back to the Hat, they have a spare F in Ochap and a D in Pilot bute when they are needed.
Never easy choices I am sure, Ryley will do very well there and I am sure he will be a terrier in the future, feel bad for Justin as he has sure been up and down with the terriers the past few years good luck wherever you go Justin
Which D-man were you speaking of that the Terriers can bring up from Pilot Butte?
Raiwet's there.
Justin always played hard, Good luck hope things work out for you.
I'm sure it was tough for the Terriers to release a guy who has been around for a couple of years and gave it his all. Best of luck to J.L. where ever he's off to next.
I think Justin was probably the most under-rated player on the Terrier roster. The "French Connection" was a force to be reckoned with in the beginning of the season. Why were they split up at all? Best of luck in whatever you do Justin, we know you will give it your all.
Totally agree with the above comment. You can hardly expect a player to keep putting up points if you don't put him on the ice. Best of luck Lamo, you will be missed.
