MAJKOWSKI SCORES TWICE, LEADS TERRIERS PAST KLIPPERS

Zak Majkowski had 2 goals and an assist, as the Yorkton Terriers doubled the Kindersley Klippers 6-3.

Tayler Thompson opened the scoring just 18 seconds into the game, his first as a Terrier. Kyle McLeod, Jeremy Johnson and Riley Paterson also scored, and Brent Struble added two assists.

Kale Thomson got his second straight start in goal, and improved his record to 5-1, making 23/26 saves.

The Terriers out-shot the Klippers 36-26, but went 0/8 on the powerplay. All six goals came at even strength, as they picked up their second win in a row, improving to 13-11-0-1.

Yorkton's got some space behind them and infront of them. The 4th place Terriers sit 6 points up on Notre Dame, and 5 back of Estevan, with a game in hand on both teams.

The Terriers travel to Melville on Friday, before hosting the Millionaires Saturday.

The Swan Valley Stampeders couldn't quite recover from an early 3-0 hole against OCN. The cut the deficit to one twice, falling 4-3, ending a busy day of trade activity.

Kyle Smart had 2 assists in his Stampeder debut, while Brett Charette also played his first game as a Stamp.

Tony Partridge scored twice while Sam Briscoe had the other.

Craig...I see 26 players are still listed on the Terriers roster. Is someone already gone...I see that you posted that they have 25 cards signed!

Ya Gervais is still listed and he was sent to the Harvest last week.
