An 8-game winless skid is over, after the Swan Valley Stampeders went into Steinbach and beat the Pistons 4-3 in a shootout on Friday.
T.J. Fairall had a goal and an assist, while Tony Partridge and Beau Taylor also scored.
Jayson Argue stopped 39/42 shots in regulation and overtime.
The Stamps were 0-6-2 in their previous 8 games. They'll try to build a winning streak as they visit the Winnipeg Saints tonight (SAT), and the Portage Terriers tomorrow (6:30 on GX94).
