Boyer Bound For France

Yorkton Terrier grad Jeremy Boyer will travel across the pond to France this upcoming season, and play professional hockey for the Valence Lynx in Division 1.

Boyer scored 42-goals and 87-points between Humboldt and Yorkton last season, and he did all that in just 50 games. He added 13 points in 15 playoff games in the Terriers' run to the league final, including the overtime winner in Game 4 of the final to tie the Credit Union Cup at 2-2. La Ronge would eventually win the series in seven games.

Prior to last season, Boyer spent four full seasons in the Western Hockey League, three with Seattle, and one with his hometown Saskatoon Blades.

The Terriers acquired Boyer and Justin Buzzeo from Humboldt on January 7th, 2011, just prior to the trade deadline. Buzzeo will play NCAA Division 1 hockey with the Ferris State Bulldogs this season, with another former Terrier, Michael Trebish.
