Well Done, MJHL!

I've been critical of the MJHL's new website at times, especially for its navigation on smartphones... but I take it all back now!

The MJHL has launched MJHL Mobile. A meat-and-potatoes layout for mobile phones, that uses far less memory and just gives you what you need. A dream for a sportscaster who's checking scores/standings.

MJHL MOBILE

I don't have unlimited internet on my BlackBerry, but I have a plan that I never exceed... but with the latest MJ site, I was probably getting close! It would take close to 200KB everytime I loaded a page, while the Mobile site uses, looks like no more than 20.

The SJHL doesn't officially have a "mobile'' site, I don't think, but their Box Scores page is a breeze to read, even on the phone... complete with teams' logos and tells you the goal scorers without even having to open each summary.

My life just got a lot easier!
