Robin's Roundtable

Our last Robin's Roundtable of the season was held at Robin's in Melville tonight with Don Chesney and Jamie Fiesel.

This time, I'm deciding against posting it. It really takes close to half an hour to convert 30 minutes to an mp3, mix it down in Media Player, and upload it to the blog. AND, my mp3 converter has been acting up these last couple days.

We talked about each team's recent action, both with wins over Battleford, the delay with Melville's new rink, and of course tee'd up the weekend home and home.

I feel like heading home tonight... I'm fighting off a cold and want to get healthy for a crazy busy next two weeks... and playoffs, which I'm thinking will be just as busy or more, with a decent chance of all four of our teams being in, and none of them playing against eachother! Just like the 07-08 season. I loved it! But, I did burn myself out, as we did 15 games in 15 nights... and I missed 4 in the middle with a throat infection. I did 8, Randy Atkinson filled in for four while I layed on my couch and watched 3 seasons of Family Guy in 4 days and pounded back water and pills. Then I was back at it for the next four straight nights. Back to back nights of Game 7's in Mantioba (both losses unfortunately)... followed shortly by a Melville Game 6 South Final, double OT loss in Kindersley.

Anyhow I'll make up for the lack of Roundtable Show with a big preview in the morning.
