Nice read , and well done.
As I have always suspected, just because play by play guys watch a lot of hockey it doesn't mean they know much about the game
Hahahaha.
And you are an anonymous plug!
At least say what you disagree with. Won't bother telling you to post your name, no point.
Craig: the players holding down the top postions in the categories seem be mostly from the north division. I understand that the poll isn't scientific and just for discussion but what is the breakdown for the voter's teams, how many from the north division and how many from the south?
Good on you for putting in the time to organize this.
Actually 4 or the guys who did it are from the south, 3 from the north, and Mike Stackhouse who does games for the whole league, and is also based in the south.
I'd say there were more north players, simply because La Ronge guys are going to win most forward categories when one line combines for over 300 points.
Guys with keyboard courage are the best (post #2). Right or wrong, at least broadcasters are willing to put their name to their choices and opinions. It's easy to call someone one anonymously. Entirely different to put your own John Henry behind it. Have some conviction to your thoughts!
