Terriers Show No Rust / Wolverines Suffer First December Loss

After 10 days off, the Yorkton Terriers picked up right where they left off- winning.

The Terriers now have just one loss in their last 14 games, after a 4-1 decision over visiting Melfort last night.

Craig Eisenhut had 1g-2a, while Riley Paterson, Clarke Breitkreuz and Kyle McLeod had the others.

Devin Peters stopped 30/31 saves, boosting his personal record to 18-6-2, and the Terriers' to 23-8-4.

Yorkton's home to Humboldt tomorrow, and in Weyburn Saturday.

The Wayway Wolverines dropped a 4-1 decision in OCN, a game we had on GX94.

Brett Pinkerton tied it 1-1 midway through the game, but that was Wayway's only goal, as the Blizzard tacked on the next 3.

Defenseman Nathan Bruyere had 2g-1a for OCN.

The Wolverines have a pair of home games to go into the holidays... Saturday vs Dauphin, and Sunday afternoon against Portage.

Together again.

I met the Wolverines in Roblin, and left my BlackBerry in the station truck.

That was a long 14 hours apart.

Even when I sleep, it's a foot beside my head. I think even my wife is at least 2 feet away!

Anyhow, apologies go out to Clark Stork, Trent Cassan, Guy Vestby and Jamie Smalley, who probably think I'm a rude bugger who doesn't respond to texts.

The Swan/Dauphin game was PPD due to travel conditions. No make-up date as of yet. The two teams are scheduled to meet tomorrow (FRI) in Dauphin.

So that's what happened, haha. But you are still the rudest buddy I have!
