Robin's Roundtable Tonight

Our third Robin's Roundtable Show of the season goes tonight at Robin's Donuts & 2-for-1 Pizza in Yorkton, from 7:00 - 7:30.

I'll be joined by Yorkton Terriers' GM Don Chesney, while I'm not positive at this point who'll be coming in from Melville. It sounded like Coach/GM Jamie Fiesel is going to Winnipeg tonight to catch some World Under-17 action. Hoping to line up Ass't Coach/Ass't GM Neil Lamberty for the show.

Tune in, or better yet, join us for supper at Robin's!

Speaking of Under-17's... Team West lost their exhibition game 4-0 to the United States last night in Portage.

Melville's Damon Severson had a couple penalty minutes.

Swan Valley defenseman Landon Peel and Grandview's Ryan Pulock are also on Team West.

They play Team Pacific tonight to open up the Round Robin.

Stephanie Sawchuk scored two late third period goals to make it a little closer, but the Melville Fox FM Prairie Fire dropped to 1-and-1 at the Mac's Tournament in Calgary, with yesterday's 6-3 loss to the Highwood Raiders.

For the girls to make the playoffs, they'll need to win their last two round robin games, and then likely win a complicated tie-breaking formula.

They play the Edmonton Thunder this (WED) morning at 9:00 SK time, and the Calgary Flyers tomorrow morning.

Some Senior Hockey action from Tuesday...

Fishing Lake Hockey League (3)
Theodore Buffaloes 12 @ Canora Cobras 3
Wadena Wildcats 6 @ Foam Lake Flyers 1
Kelvington Wheat Kings 1 @ Porcupine Plain Blues 2

Triangle Hockey League (2)
Churchbridge Imperials 3 @ Langenburg Warriors 5
Ochapowace Thunder 1 @ Whitewood Orioles 5
