An Evening Of Firsts

The Yorkton Terriers improved their early season mark to 5-1-1-1 with a 5-3 win in Notre Dame on Monday.

It was the Terriers first win away from home this season in four tries, Kyle McLeod scored his first SJHL goal, and Warren Shymko picked up his first SJHL win, making 21/24 saves.

Clarke Breitkreuz scored his league-leading 7th goal and 15th point, while Riley Paterson, Zak Majkowsky and Nathan Murray (EN) also scored. Rylan McDonell added three assists.

The Terriers host the 6-0 Humboldt Broncos tonight at 7:30.
