Yorkton 5 @ Wayway 8

Williams and Pinkerton steal the show, lead Wolverines to comeback win.

The Yorkton Terriers built themselves a 3-1 lead early in the second period, on goals by Zak Majkowski, Craig Eisenhunt and Kevin Cann. Then, Wayway's line of rookie Brett Pinkerton, and veterans Dave Williams (pictured) and Paul Vandevelde took the game over.

The Wolverines scored 4 unanswered goals, and 7 of the next 9, en route to an 8-5 win over the visiting Terriers.

Williams led the charge with 3-goals and 2-assists... Pinkerton scored twice and set up 3, while Vandevelde added a pair of helpers.

Former Yorkton Harvest Curtis Veitch scored Wayway's first goal, his second in as many nights, this time coming short-handed in the first period. Ashley Howie and Myles Baptiste also scored in the win. The Terriers also got goals from Brenden Poncelet and Sam Prpich.

Yorkton's back in action tonight (FRI) in Estevan, while Wayway's in Melville.
