Just a reminder to all Facebook users, we've started an SJHL/MJHL Pre-Season Scores Facebook page, and it can be accessed by searching those words on Facebook, or by clicking on the link in the top right corner of this page.
It's for anyone (not just broadcasters) who were at a game, know the score, to post on.
With the MJHL's Pre-Season starting a lot sooner than the SJ's, most of the people who've signed up on the page are from Manitoba, so I'm hoping to get the same response from Saskatchewan.
All of last night's scores are there, and a list of tonight's action.

A long weekend of harvesting on the farm turned into a few hours of trucking, followed by rain, rain, Rider WIN, rain, visiting my grandparents at the care home, rain, rain.

I'll finally check out some hockey tonight!
Some vets will be in the lineup for both the Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires as they square off at Farrell Agencies Arena in Yorkton.
Melville won last night's Rookie game 5-2 (game summary posted below).
I've definitely lagged behind most or all of my broadcasting/blogger buddies in the SJHL for training camp coverage, but as promised, we'll start ramping things up today. And a big kudos to all the media guys who are working their tails off!

Swan Valley's already played 5 Pre-Season games (they're 3-and-2). They still have 2 left, and it's a Saturday/Sunday home-and-home with Melville.
Wayway's first Pre-Season game is tomorrow (WED) when they also host Melville.
I love how our 4 teams are almost all playing EACHOTHER this Pre-Season.
Yorkton/Melville, Yorkton/Wayway, Swan/Melville, Wayway/Melville.
Makes my life easier when it comes to getting Pre-Season audio, and sound bites for this year's broadcasts.
