Repeat Complete For Jr Cardinals

The Yorkton Jr Cardinals beat the Willowbrook Royals 5-2 Monday night, and win their 2nd straight South East Senior Baseball League title in a 3-game sweep.

Logan Calanchie tossed a complete game for the Cards, and took time to talk afterwards.

The all-Saskatchewan Western Major Baseball League final is now set.

The Regina Red Sox survived a scare from the surprising Moose Jaw Miller Express, and flexed their muscles to the tune of an 11-1 victory in last night's 5th and deciding game.

Regina travels to Swift Current now, for Game 1 of the WMBL Championship tomorrow (WED) night.

They're hardly a Jr. team at all! There were at least 3 players in their lineup last night that were over the Jr. age limit. Christ Daniel Lamb's gotta be at least 24 now!

That's a tainted league title at best!
