Millers Complete Sweep, Upset Mils in Round 1

The Melville Millionaires season is over, after Sunday night's 11-2 loss to the Miller Express in Moose Jaw.

Moose Jaw, who finished 19-and-23 on the season, had Melville's number down the stretch, beating them 5 straight times, going back to a double-header sweep on the final night of the regular season.

Melville went 25-17 in the regular season.

Casey Justice, who was near the top of every batting category in the regular season, went just 1-for-14 (.071) for the Mils in the playoffs.

The only series that DID NOT end in a sweep was Regina/Weyburn. Weyburn forced a Game 4 tonight, with Regina up 2-1 in the series. The West Final is set, and should be a dandy, with the Swift Current Indians having home field against the Okotoks Dawgs.
