Press Release from the Yorkton Terriers:
Yorkton Terriers are proud to support the OneMatch Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Drive for Luke Boechler.
Saturday, April 17th
Gallagher Centre Lobby from 9:00 - 5:00.
Anyone interested in being tested must be between the ages of 17 and 50. To register you will need your health card and volunteers will "swab" the inside of your cheek.
There are several conditions and diseases that would prevent you from being considered as a donor: most cancers, heart disease, insulin dependent diabetes, kidney disease, and infectious diseases such as HIV/Aids and Hepatitis B and C.
Every person that joins gives additional hope to stem cell and transplant patients like Luke and others. You may very well hold the key to someone's future.
YOU COULD BE THE ONE MATCH THAT SAVES A LIFE!
=======================
The Terrier Banquet happens right after the Stem Cell & Bone Marrow Drive, in the Wellington West Room at the Gallagher Centre.
Cocktails are at 6:00, Supper at 7:00.
Tickets available at the Terrier Office, or from any executive member.

How could we register on this list without being in Yorkton on Sat?
i'll look into it... thanks for the interest!
Hi Craig,
People who can't be there on Saturday can go to http://www.onematch.ca. Read through the information, answer a simple "quiz" and fill in the form. Someone from Canadian Blood Services will call within a few days and they will send a "swab kit" (like people will get on Saturday) in the mail.
Thanks!
- Brittany Boechler
