Chesney, Cassan, McKay Make Up Terrier Staff *With Audio*

Some familiar faces will be on the Yorkton Terrier bench this upcoming season.

Back with the Terrier organization is former Coach/GM Don Chesney. Chesney will serve as the team's General Manager and Director of Marketing.

Trent Cassan stays on as Head Coach, and will also work alongside Chesney as Associate GM.

The Terriers also retain Assistant Coach Danny McKay for the upcoming year.

Under Cassan and McKay, the Terriers won a Conference Championship, and lost to the La Ronge Ice Wolves in 6 games in the Credit Union Cup.

Gary Carson remains as Head Scout, and Riley Rice as Trainer.

Don Chesney is hilarious. Him and Gerald Shymko came and spoke at our dinner in Norquay after we won provincials in midget in 04. Great stories and a great evening all around.

Great to see Cheser back in the fold. Nice to have that kind of experience help Cassan do his job. Classy of Cheser to acknowledge Cassan as a player, and how hard he worked. The two of them will do a great job for the Terriers.

Was there any doubt? This seems like a pretty solid staff but that is judged on the later portion of last season. I wonder how they'll do with a full year. Cassan is now calling the shots for spring camp and training camp and will have to make all the decisions and not just work with a team that had already been picked. Good luck to them.
