Kevin Stringfellow scored 6:39 into overtime, giving the Yorkton Terriers a 4-3 (OT) win, and a 4-3 series win over the Kindersley Klippers, giving them a Sherwood Conference Championship and a trip to the Credit Union Cup against La Ronge.
Andrew Dommett started the scoring for Kindersley just 1:35 in, but the Terriers led by the end of the opening frame, thanks to goals from Riley Paterson (4) and Adam Moar (5).
Rylan McDonell (8) made it 3-1 Terriers early in the 2nd, but the Klippers once again refused to go away, and Braeden Adamyk cut it to 3-2 before the middle period was done.
Dommett struck again just 4:01 into the third, and it stayed tied 3-3 through regulation.
Stringfellow's OT winner was his 5th goal, and 2nd OT winner of these playoffs (Game 4 vs Weyburn).
