The Kindersley Klippers scored three third period goals, erasing a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 and stay alive in the SJHL Sherwood Conference Final.
The Terriers scored two goals 3:11 apart in the first period, the fourth of the playoffs for both Brent Struble and Adam Moar, and the score stayed 2-0 after 40 minutes.
Andrew Dommett scored less than 5 minutes in to get it to 2-1, and Riley Down deflected one home to tie the game.
The winner, came with just 4 seconds remaining in the third period, when Tanner Exner cut in on a 2-on-1 and slid one home, sealing a 3-2 Kindersley victory, and forced a 7th and deciding game Tuesday in Eston (7:15 / 7:30 on GX94).
There's no question this one hurts... but this is one more chunk of adversity in the face of the Terriers. There was no bigger 'low' for them in these playoffs than watching a 4-1 lead with 3:30 left slip away, to lose 5-4 in OT in Melville in Game 1 of the Survivor Series, but they went on to win their next 5 hockey games. And for the record, they've still yet to lose back to back games in these playoffs.
--------------------
Congrats to locals F Aaron Decorby, G Joel Danyluk and Trainer Ron Holloway, and the rest of the La Ronge Ice Wolves for getting their first berth in the SJHL Final in franchise history.
The Wolves beat Battlefords 4-1 in Game 6, winning the Bauer Conference Final 4-2.
The Credit Union Cup begins Friday & Saturday in La Ronge if the Terriers come out of the South, in Eston if the Klippers win Game 7.

Craig I realy think that the first mils game, that the dogs lost was the best thing that has happened,it was the turning point for the new Terrier team, that was a team building happening and they have gone on there.
