The Yorkton Terriers have the first place Weyburn Red Wings on the ropes after a 3-2 OT win at Farrell Agencies Arena on Wednesday night.
The Wings were up 2-0 after one, on goals by Colton Sanderson and Brock Appelyard (PP), but the Terriers answered with two of their own in the third, and broke a nasty powerplay slump in the process.
Troy Smukowich scored his league-leading 6th of the playoffs, and Kevin Stringfellow tied it, both on the man-advantage. Yorkton was 0-for-21 on the powerplay in the series before Smukowich got them on the board.
And, just when it looked like double-overtime would be needed, Stringfellow jammed home his second of the game and fourth of the playoffs with just 17 seconds remaining in the first overtime period.
Yorkton's up 3-1 in the series, heading to Weyburn for Game 5 on Friday. If necessary, Game 6 is back in Yorkton on Saturday.

Absolutley loved the announcing...when Stringfellow scored! Next time can you put some enthusiasm into it?! Ha!
It was awesome!
Are you having fun Craig? That was a great game last night, so happy for the team to be playing so well, the first period they looked a little nervous, but then got their confidence back. great game
