Between the Pipes
Yorkton's Devin Peters is on a roll after the Terriers' entire team had a late-game collapse in Game 1 of the Survivor Series. He will likely be staring at A.J. Whiffen across the way. Whiffen and Tanner Erickson split the duties for a good part of the season in the Red Wings' cage, but Whiffen was their main man down the stretch, and just won the award as SJHL Top Goalie.

Yorkton
#29 Devin Peters: 17-17-1-0, 2.97 GAA, .897%, 1 SO
*#30 Luke Boechler: 4-7-2-1, 2.77 GAA, .907%, 3 SO
#35 Warren Shymko: 0-2, 4.03 GAA, .862%

*Looking forward to bringing Luke Boechler another series of Terrier hockey on www.gx94radio.com as he fights Leukemia at the Regina Pasqua Hospital.

Peters in Survivor Series: 3-0-1, 2.48 GAA, .925%

Peters vs WEY: 1-3-0-0, 3.32 GAA, .899%

Weyburn
#1 A.J. Whiffen: 22-5-0-3, 2.26 GAA, .924%, 4 SO
# 30 Tanner Erickson: 16-8-0-3, 3.03 GAA, .901%, 2 SO

Whiffen vs YOR: 3-1, 1.75 GAA, .951%
Erickson vs YOR: 2-0, 1.00 GAA, .967%

Yikes!

The Wings kept Yorkton to just 1 goal scored in 4 of their 6 head to head meetings, and gave up just 9 in their 6 matchups, an average of 1.50. Although the Terriers have found their offensive touch in these playoffs, scoring 16 goals in four games against Melville.

Also interesting to note Drew George only faced the Terriers once and was held pointless. The 18-year-old rookie, who played for the Notre Dame "AAA" Midget Hounds last year, came to Weyburn from the BCHL, and put up 13g-14a-27p in 21 games since the trade. In a full season, George would have been on pace for 36-goals and 74-points. Rhett Bly was the only other Red Wing over a point-per-game, but the Wings have a deep club, with lots of experience, with several key players back from last year's Sherwood Conference Final loss to Melville.
