If you're tuning into tonight's Yorkton-Weyburn broadcast, don't miss the 2nd intermission where I catch up with former Yorkton Terrier Defenseman Greg Coburn.Coburn's having a banner year as a Freshman with the Union College Dutchmen in New York State.
The Dutchmen start their playoffs tonight against Quinnipac, a Best-of-Three series, after receiving a first round bye for finishing top-4 in the 12-team conference.
Coburn had 2g-14a-16p in 29 regular season games this season, and is second on the team in points among defensemen. Keep in mind, he's a rookie, playing against guys as old as 25, and it's NCAA Division I hockey. Impressive stuff.
