Gonna be brief tonight... already tired from the start of a "long weekend."
Melville 5 @ Notre Dame 3
- Mils win 8th straight game, longest streak of any SJHL team this season.
- Contrary to the online summary, Michael Jordan scored 2G, and Zach Rakochy played in his first full game since December 11th, making 23/26 saves.
- Mils host Kindersley tonight (SAT), and are now 7 points up on Yorkton for 4th.
Kindersley 4 @ Yorkton 1
- Jordan Menke scored Yorkton's only goal as the Terriers drop their third straight.
- Yorkton's chances of having home ice in the Survivor Series took a serious hit Friday, with their loss and Melville's win, they're 7 points back with 4 games left. One Melville win or Yorkton loss would mean Game 1 of the Survivor Series is in Melville.
Terrier Sportsman's Dinner & Auction is tonight (SAT) at the Gallagher Centre. Cocktails at 6:30... Bobby Hull is the guest speaker.
Saturday
Kindersley @ Melville
Swan Valley @ Portage
(Two teams are tied for 2nd in the Sherwood, with 4 games left)
Neepawa @ Wayway
