Jackson Blanks Ex-Mates, Mils Split in LAR

Chris Jackson's first start for the Melville Millionaires was a memorable one, stopping all 34 shots he faced in a 4-0 shutout Saturday night in La Ronge.

Jackson went to Melville after the Ice Wolves acquired Joel Danyluk to compliment Adam Bartko, and with the Mils down to just one goalie after shipping 20 year old Brady Wilyman to Trenton, ON, they quickly scooped up Jackson.

Matt Kinnunen scored twice, Brayden Metz and Logan Herauf had the others.

Danyluk stopped 34/39 shots for La Ronge.

The Millionaires are now 14-16-2-1 on the season, and return home to face Nipawin on Tuesday night (7:20 / 7:30 on GX94).
