Decorby Dealt To La Ronge

The Melville Millionaires continue to change the face of the 2009/10 club, officially sending local product Aaron Decorby to the La Ronge Ice Wolves today.

In return, the Mils re-acquire 20 G Justin Leclerc, and flip him to the MJHL's Winnipeg Saints.

Until I get the go-ahead from Mils' Coach/GM Jamie Fiesel, I won't list who's coming the other way from Winnipeg. The player was yet to be notified as of early afternoon. Word is it's for one player and "futures." Not sure whether that's cash or another player to be named later.

I spoke to Aaron about the deal today.

Despite a recent injury, Decorby still leaves the Millionaires as their leading goal-scorer, with 19 on the season, and his 33 points in 28 games ranks him second behind Logan Herauf (42 pts).

Injuries have been the only knock on Decorby over the past three seasons, where he's averaged roughly a point-per game, despite never playing a full season. In 104 career games, Decorby scored 46-goals and 42-assists for 88-points.
