Blaine Tendler a Terrier

The Yorkton Terriers have added another WHL defenseman with 19-year-old Blaine Tendler.

Tendler's been sitting out this season, but was a big contributor at the Major Junior level for each of the last three seasons with the Prince Albert Raiders.

He even registered one assist in 8 games at the age of 15, and since added 13-assists in 49 games when he was 16, 1-goal and 14-assists when he was 17, and 1-goal and 16-assists last season as an 18-year-old.

Yorkton also added 18 D Drew McDermott from the Everett Silvertips last week, and he made a great first impression in his first two games as a Terrier.

Tendler left the WHL on his own terms prior to this season. Here's an article with the story.
