Terriers, Mils Both Come Up Short Away From Home

The Yorkton Terriers dropped a 2-1 decision in Weyburn on Tuesday night. Rhys Thomas opened the scoring for Weyburn on an early powerplay at 2:45 of the first period.

The two teams played to a scoreless second, before Forest Dell made it 2-0 Wings with 7:34 remaining in the game. John Niebrandt scored a powerplay goal with about 2:30 left in the game, and the Terriers thought they'd tied it, but the potential tying goal was waved off as it was ruled Torey Stott re-directed the puck above the crossbar.

AJ Whiffen made 33 saves to get the win, Joel Danyluk took the loss, making 28 saves.
