Metz Won't Play Tonight

"He's still nursing a bit of a foot injury and he's just arriving here today, so we're not going to put him in the lineup tonight. We've got 4 in 5 nights this week so there's lots of time to get him in. We are very excited to have him, and he feels he can develop best playing in a top-six role, and that's what he will be with us. I think we saw last year during the 5 months he spent with us, he developed his game more than he did probably in the last 4 years. So he's looking forward to it, being back in that top-six, getting lots of ice time, being treated as a scorer, and that's what we hope he'll do for us."

Will he play with Herauf & Decorby?

"Yeah, we're going to put him in that position and that was kind of targeted for him. To have a veteran centre between those two guys will help them out as well. Instead of concentrating on one or two guys, we'll have three skilled, veteran guys on that line and makes it that much tougher. It'll make our whole lineup stronger, other guys move to different spots and it makes us that much stronger across the board."
