From The Booth In Kindersley / Stamps Get 2nd Win Over Dauphin

Internet connection in Kindersley was wonky, so couldn't post until now. Here are a couple pics, and some audio from Wednesday's 3-2 (SO) Terrier win over the Klippers.

Torey Stott warming up starter Devin Peters. Not bad foreshadowing here, as Stott scored in regualation and added the shootout winner. Peters stopped 32/34 shots and all 3 shooters in the shootout.

Here's the radio audio from Stott's opening goal in the shootout and Peters' final save against
Kindersley's Jordan Braid.

Justin Lamontagne opened the scoring with his first SJHL goal early in the first period... Stott sniped his team-leading 12th in the second, before Andrew Dommett (20) and Taylor Duzan (10, PP) scored for Kinderlsley to force overtime. The Klippers out-shot Yorkton 34-22.

-------------------

Ryan Griffiths scored in his first home game in his return to Swan Valley, helping the Stamps beat the first place Dauphin Kings for the second time in 7 days, 5-2 at the Centennial Arena.

Chris Reimer, Brent Wilson, Carter Selinger, and Darcy Riddell had the others. Shelby Gray, Ryan Marshall and Myles Stevens had 2-assists each.

The Stampeders are now 19-12-1-1.
The Terriers have Thursday off, before taking on Melville Friday afternoon at 2:30, and Estevan Saturday at 2:00 at the Showcase in Battleford.

We're on the air Thursday at 7:20 with the Melville Millionaires and Kindersley on Day 1 of the Showcase.
