The Yorkton Terriers' regular season scoring leader helped the Terriers find their offense Tuesday night in a 4-3 win in Melville to narrow the Mils' series lead to 2-1.Defenseman Greg Coburn (pictured), who had a team-high 47 points during the regular season, scored once and set up 2 others as the Terriers picked up their first post-season win in two years, and are now heading home Thursday with a chance to tie the series and make it a Best-of-Three.
Rylan McDonnell, Jordan Zalba and Kirk Byczynski had Yorkton's other goals, while the Millionaires, who nearly fought back from a 4-1 deficit, got goals from Cody Hanson, Kelly Friesen and Michael Jordan.

Another one goal loss for the Wayway Wolverines, this time in overtime to add to the heart-break. This time, they were able to muster the tying goal when down 3-2, after losing the first two games by 3-2 counts... but the Terriers won 4-3 in OT.
It was 3-0 for Portage thanks to 2 goals from defenseman Drew Ellement, who now has 5 goals and 7 points in 3 games. Ryan Audino had the other goal. Paul Marcoux got the Wolverines on the board late in the second.
Come the third period, Niko Grose set up Ryan Regel for his second of the playoffs less than 2 minutes in, and with 4:20 left in regulation, Marcoux notched his 2nd of the night to force overtime. Brenden Walker ended it 2:12 into the extra frame for Portage, who now takes a 3-0 lead in the Best-of-Seven ahead of Thursday's Game 4 in Wayway.

Hey Stein, did you see the hit on Hope yet? Whatcha think well happen? Not sure who the kid from yorkton was that hit hope, but hopefully the league does the right thing and suspends the yorkton kid.
Didn't see it, so won't comment... heard a lot of bad things about it though. Of course there are two sides to every story and I gotta be right down the middle in a situation like this. Zubko made the hit, that much I know, but I didn't see it and can't judge if it was clean or otherwise. I'm hoping to find out in the next few minutes how long Hope is out. CS
