Breitkreuz, Oil Kings To Face 1st Place Hitmen

The Edmonton Oil Kings won a one-game playoff against the Prince Albert Raiders 2-1 in OT on Tuesday night. From there, they spent the night in P.A., before traveling to Calgary yesterday (WED), where they'll kick off their first round WHL playoff series against the heavily favoured Hitmen. I had a chance to talk to Springside product, and Oil King forward Brett Breitkreuz.

Brett's younger brother Clarke split time with the Yorkton Terriers and Regina Pats this season.

The Oil Kings went 29-34-4-5 for 67 points in the regular season, while the Hitmen, ranked #1 in the country, were 59-9-3-1, for 122 points.
