The OCN Blizzard started the scoring and finished it, but the Wayway Wolverines sandwiched 4 goals in between for a 4-2 win.
Paul Marcoux got the first two, his 31st and 32nd of the season to lead the team in that department. Then the Blizzard gave the Wolverines a full 2-minute 5-on-3, and two defensemen made 'em pay. Zach Sweet scored his 2nd, and Cody Danychuk his 9th. Wayway's 3 second period goals all came a minute and a half apart.
The two points put the Wolverines back above .500 (24-23-3-6), and 3 points up on the Neepawa Natives for 4th in the Sherwood Division. Neepawa's got just 3 games left, while Wayway's got 6 left, and they're all in the next 7 nights, beginning tonight (TUE) at home against the Swan Valley Stampeders at 7:30.
