81-year-old Metro Prystai from Yorkton received a strange package in the mail from the Detroit Red Wings recently, and in it, was a massive Stanley Cup ring.
Prystai scored 151 goals and 330 points in the NHL, mostly with Detroit, where he also helped the Wings win two Stanley Cups, with the likes of Howe, Lindsay, Abel, Delvecchio, Pronovost and Sawchuk.
Current Red Wings' Owners Mike and Marian Ilitch rewarded their Wings' Alumni members from who won Cups during the days when Stanley Cup Rings weren't a tradition, and now Prystai has his.
