Playoff Positions Could Be Set Tonight

All 12 teams hit the ice in the SJHL tonight.

Humboldt Broncos @ Nipawin Hawks
La Ronge Ice Wolves @ Flin Flon Bombers

The playoff seeds could all be decided by 10:00 tonight. Here's how:

Sherwood Conference

- A Weyburn win vs Notre Dame OR a Melville loss @ Melfort would clinch Weyburn 1st and Melville 2nd.

- A Yorkton win vs Battleford OR a Kindersley loss @ Estevan would clinch Yorkton 3rd and Kindersley 4th.

- Estevan's already 5th and Notre Dame will finish 6th, out of the playoffs.

Itech Conference

- Humboldt's had 1st clinched for a month, they lead Flin Flon by 39 points.

- A Flin Flon win vs La Ronge, OR a Melfort loss vs Melville would clinch Flin Flon 2nd.

- A Melfort win vs Melville OR a Nipawin loss vs Humboldt would clinch Melfort 3rd (at least), and Nipawin 4th.

- Battleford will finish 5th. La Ronge 6th.

I'll be in Neepawa tonight with the Swan Valley Stampeders. It'll be our final Stamps' broadcast of the season, so I'm hoping to have some fun. I'll chat with former Stampeder Dustin Kimber in the second intermission. Kimber's got 26-points in 26-games with the Mount Royal College Cougars in Calgary. He was a 30+ goal scorer with the Stampeders as a 20 year old last season. First intermission, seeing how it's our final broadcast with the Stamps, I'll get graduating captain Devin Reinhardt on, and hopefully fellow 20 year olds Vinny Scott and Garrett Lasko too. 7:20 Pre Game Show tonight on GX94.
